
The Federal Security Service on Thursday in the evening conducts large exercises in the Moscow Kremlin. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press center of the special services.
In the course of the exercises, they say in the FSO, it is supposed to work, in particular, "suppressing attempts to illegally penetrate the territory of the protected object and the commission of unlawful actions." Among other practiced tasks are “suppression of extremist activity, the fight against unauthorized flights of unmanned aerial vehicles over protected objects, detecting and eliminating diversion -terrorist activities, and ensuring fire safety of the facility”.
The exercises will be held on a significant part of the territory of the Kremlin itself, as well as in Krasnaya and Borovitskaya squares, in the Alexander Garden and on Manezhnaya Street. In addition to the FSO, the event will be attended by units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Emergencies.
In connection with the exercises, access to Krasnaya Square and to the Alexander Garden from 16 hours on November 17 is closed. After 22 hours, it is also supposed to block travel along a number of transport corridors near the Kremlin for a while.
