FSB: In Nizhny Novgorod, another fighter of the IG was killed

FSB in the Nizhny Novgorod region announced the murder of the third militant of the Islamic State, suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in the capital of the region. The information of the special services is transmitted by Interfax-Volga.

The incident claimed on November 14. When trying to detain the Islamist allegedly opened shooting and was killed by return fire. No one was injured from the security forces.

With the deceased, they say in the FSB, an AK-47 assault rifle was found, which appears in the previously instituted case on the preparation of the attack, as well as the RGO grenade and five Tyotyl checkers with a total weight of 1800 grams.

Two other defendants in the case were killed on October 23 in the Own Complex "Flowers" in the south of Nizhny Novgorod. The Sobrovtsy claimed to detain three men traveling by car Daewoo Nexia, but they fired at the security forces. Initially, the media reported that the third suspect was detained, but this information was not confirmed.

It was also reported that two Sobrovtsev contoused as a result of the explosion.

In the car of the alleged Islamists, they said in a special service, they found a suspicious device that was neutralized by the Robot Sapernary.

After the shootout, the case was opened under Part 1 of Article 30 - paragraph “A” of part 2 of Article 205 (preparation for the terrorist attack as part of an organized group), part 2 of Article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) and part 2 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal circulation of weapons by a group of persons by prior conspiracy). Thus, under Article 317 of the Criminal Code (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer), despite the statements of the intelligence services about the armed resistance, the case was not started.
