In the Volgograd region, a criminal case was opened after trying to arson the house of Governor Andrei Bocharov. This was told by Bocharov himself, Interfax reports.

The governor did not specify by what articles a criminal case was instituted.

He also said that the regional administration is in the same mode, no one was injured as a result of arson.

Bocharov said that the building was set on fire in the courtyard of the house, for this it was doused with combustible liquid. The governor rents the house where the incident.

Earlier, Interfax said that on the night of November 16, attackers tried to set fire to the governor’s house. It was clarified that a burning object was thrown into the site, but a large fire was avoided.
