SBU: We saved Bogdanov’s atoshnik from the murder planned in Russia

The SBU prevented the murder of Ilya Bogdanov, a former officer of the FSB border troops, who left Russia to participate in the ATO and later accepted Ukrainian citizenship. According to Ukrainian Pravda, the director of the special services Vasily Gritsak at a joint briefing with the country's Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko and Bogdanov himself told about this.

The former atoshnik was abducted in Kyiv by order of Russian special services, Gritsak said, and brought to Kharkov to kill there, and the corpse to be transported to Russia. In the liberation of Bogdanov, the Center for Journalistic Investigations clarifies , the special forces of the SBU "Alpha" participated.

Three suspects were detained. According to their testimony, the former deputy of the Kharkov regional council Vladimir Rozsoha was involved in the crime.

At the end of the same month, Poroshenko granted the Russian citizenship.
