A wooden school burned down in the Angara region

The wooden school completely burned down in the Irkutsk region. The Prosecutor General's Office announced an investigation.

The building of an elementary school in the village of Bayangazui, Ekhirit-Bulagatsky district of the Angara region, completely burned down on November 17. It had only eight children. No harm done

“From today, the students of the burned-out school continued their education at a comprehensive school located in a neighboring village,” according to the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office. “A special bus has been allocated by the local authorities for their delivery.”

The department has started an investigation. The prosecutor's office plans to evaluate the actions of officials responsible for compliance with fire safety legislation.
