The Dragomoshchenko Award announced the final event program

Arkady Dragmoshchenko’s poetic award ceremony and related events will be held from November 25 to 27 in St. Petersburg.

The Award Arkady Dragomoshchenko was established in 2014 on the basis of the bookstore and the Cultural site "Order of the Words" . The authors whose age does not exceed 27 years can be nominated for the prize. The priority for the awards are copyright practices marked by intensive reflection, embedded within the poetic writing itself.

In 2016, Oksana Vasyakina (Moscow), Ekaterina Zakharkiv (Moscow), Nikita Levitsky (Krasnoyarsk), Eduard Lukoyanov (Moscow) and Ivan Sokolov (Petersburg) were included in the list of finalists of the award.

On November 25, they will take part in poetic readings in Smolny (Faculty of Free Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University), at the end of which the memory of the memory of Arkady Dragomoshchenko will take place with the participation of the prize nominators, members of the jury and poets included in the Long List 2016.

On November 26, on the new stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater, a presentation of the new books of the series “New Poems” of the publishing house “The Order of Words” (“Like the map” of Lada Chizhova and the “connoisseur of the desert” by Vasily Kondratyev) and a meeting with special guests of the award, American poets Barrett Watten and Karl Harriman will be held.

The open debates of the jury, nominators and organizers and the award ceremony will be held on November 27 on the new stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater. The prize winner will receive 70 thousand rubles, finalists - 15 thousand rubles each.

In a parallel program of Dragomoshchenko Prize, the creative evening of Margarita Meklin ( November 24 , the “Word Procedure”), as well as the exhibition of Polina Zaslavskaya “Utvrats. 365 ". and poetic readings “Kitchen” ( November 27 on Kuznechny, 19).
