In Berlin, the book of sociologist Igor Aidman "Putin's system. Where does the new" Russian World "steam?" Aidman, one of the noticeable researchers of Putinism as a social and political system, emigrated from Russia to Germany several years ago. The preface to the publishing house in the publishing house Ludwig was written by Zhanna Nemtsov and Harry Kasparov, especially for the work of Aidman, the insert about corruption scandals and possible mafia ties of Vladimir Putin was prepared by journalist Anastasia Kirilenko.
The researcher believes that the historical roots and the ideological base of the Putinism system go back to the widely understood fascist movement of the second quarter of the twentieth century. Igor Aidman said his book in an interview with Radio Liberty, he considers as a warning about the threat that this Putin fascism carries:
“Western readers do not understand the depths of the threat coming from Putin’s regime,” says Igor Aidman. - Of course, the Western reader is an abstract image, but on average, or better to say, according to my impressions of the German audience, it, in principle, is quite critical and skeptical about the Putin regime. Only marginals and radicals are positively referred to as it-ultra-right and for some reason ultralel, which is an ideological contradiction. This is as if by the principle: the enemy of my enemy is my enemy. But most of the German population belongs to Putin’s Russia critically and skeptical, like most of the elite, not understanding, however, the degree of threat emanating from Moscow. They perceive Putin as a kind of unpleasant person, a cruel bitch son-but at the same time as a person with whom you can deal and need to deal with, seeing the need to somehow negotiate.
Putin violated all the contracts that he had ever concluded with the West. Some dictator from the past, Alfredo Stressner , for example, was sitting in a paragraph for 40 years. There, the devil knows what was happening: corruption, terror against political opponents, but this is somehow hermetic, inside Paraguay. And Putin is dangerous because he is operating in the international arena and can throw out completely incredible dangerous pretzels there.
Putin violated all the contracts that he ever concluded with the West
Here is an example with a very recent history in Montenegro - it happened after I wrote my book. The specific names of Russian citizens who prepared terrorist acts and the breakdown of the elections in Montenegro were published. The surnames are very simple, very common - like Ivanov and Petrov, typical surnames for work undercover. They say that these are some kind of "Russian nationalists." What Russian nationalists? In Russia, they are all for a long time under the most powerful cap of the FSB. And imagine - after all, this is Montenegro, not even the country of the former USSR, not the country of the CIS ... There was no such impudence, say, under Brezhnev, during the late USSR. Then they helped the terrorists quietly, transported through the Palestinians weapons with European left -wing radicals. But this was not at all the scope as Putin now ...
There was no such impudence, say, under Brezhnev, during the late USSR
In the history of Putin, two periods are traced as the head of Russia. At first, to some extent, he euthanized the vigilance of the Western public-therefore, before speech in Munich in 2007, it was one Putin for the West, and to another the Western public, dumbfounded, was not ready. Many in the West are in illusions regarding that Putin, who, for example, performed in the German Bundestag in German and made an adequate impression. It was a long period of Russia's participation in the "Big Eight", in the NATO Council - Russia ... And now Putin changed the chip, and now he is different. But it is difficult for people in the West to understand the person who is grown in the KGB.
- The Russians scared that, they say, Hillary Clinton, eager for power, would begin an atomic war against Russia. Do "non -Russian" wars want?
- Of course, no. I mean not only Western countries, but also eastern ones, China for example, which behaves much wiser than Russia. China could easily crush Taiwan with its power, and the United States in today's conditions could not intervene, not the same time. But the Chinese do not do this, because they understand: there will be more problems than achievements. The temptation similar to Crimean does not attract them. I'm not talking about Europe, which, in principle, is peaceful. And the United States at Obama demonstrated that they also really did not want to get involved. Of course, in the world there are small aggressive countries like North Korea or Assad Syria, but first of all, the threat to the world comes from the Putin leadership.

I came up with a political concept, which is also presented in this book - "repentant Chekists." I met in Russia when I was a political consultant, immigrants from special services among politicians and businessmen. These are people of a special type. They are all, of course, corrupt, but they are internally faithful to their ideals, as they themselves perceive them. And what do they repent? At one time, they missed power along with the CPSU and went all the hard: they began to participate in business, in corruption ... All Russian business, including oligarchic, was created under the KGB roof. And they, the Kagabashniki, forgot for a while what was inspired by him from his youth. That the USSR is a great country, which has a special mission, which should defeat Western enemies, which is called to give light to all humanity, defeating the vile America, and so on ... Under Putin, they - like Putin himself, remembered this and began to attend their guilt for the sins of youth. They believe, for example, that Krymnash will write off corruption and betrayal of ideals ... That is why they are extremely dangerous. Putin’s inadequate actions are motivated by these motives for the repentance of the former Chekist, but in his case, there is clearly a loss of adequate perception of reality. This is due to the fact that a person has been in power for so many years. Vladimir Voinovich says that a few years of absolute power are enough - and the ruler will lose adequacy. And when a person is in power for 16 years ...
- In the book, you formulate the answer to the question of why Putin wages wars and capable of waging wars, which you did not seek to do if you distract from the war in Afghanistan, communist leaders, in particular Brezhnev, who signed the Helsinki discharge agreements, actively supporting the concept of peaceful coexistence of the two systems. Why is this person, Putin, is ready to fight?
For Putin with the company, war is parades and Victory Day
- The Putin generation of leaders is the first generation that did not find the war. In the generation of Brezhnev, the war went very much, and for those who survived, it became a personal tragedy. And Brezhnev, as his assistants wrote, in particular, in his memoirs, had the idea of a fix: not to build communism (as Khrushchev dreamed), but to prevent a big war. And the population then still felt sharply - bitterness and pain for the tragedy of war. And for Putin with the company, war is parades and Victory Day. He is not afraid of war because he does not understand and does not feel it.
There is another source of Putin's adventurism. Still, Putin is to a large extent a person of the 90s. He participated in the then authorities, in the criminal corruption business, he was used to solving issues as done in the 90s-in a snatch, arrogance, strength decisions, threats with confidence that, they say, we’ll somehow slip through. The brothers with whom he spoke then, and the Kagabashniki, who created a single mafia community with these brothers - they solved all issues. And he goes to the international arena with this Bratkov mentality and behaves absolutely the same way - he takes on the pont, intimidates, threatens, lies constantly. Putin refers to European Western leaders as frarams who need to be deceived, diluted and intimidated.
- Putin knows that he is not getting younger. Are the changes in it related in recent years with what he would like to stay in history? Do we have a business with a regime that stole above the roof and simply searches for any ways to hold power, playing the television tesectos for the people about the Jews, Novorossia, Syria, and so on, in order to hold the electorate - or does Putin still have an internal mission to remain a hero?
Vladimir Putin
- I think that both are present. That is, on the one hand, he has some kind of super-task, and he sees himself among the great Russian rulers. But in a row peculiar: Ivan the Terrible, Stalin ... I saw on the Internet the development of the pro-Kremlin youth movement "Our"-pictures, where Putin as Vladimir the Restor stands among the great Russian kings. I think they know how to pour the owner, and he likes, apparently, such things. Well, the second side - its policy works to retain power to solve tactical problems in order to manipulate the electorate. And it succeeds. Remember, until recently it seemed that the people were turning away from the Putin regime, and sociologists confirmed that the rating of the authorities then fell ... And all this literally collapsed after the beginning of the Crimean epic ... The like in history happened many times before Putin, it was the effect of a "small victorious war." The problem for Putin and the Russian government can become, as historical experience shows, when a large shameful and lost one, which largely undermined the strength of the regime, was made from a small victorious war.
- Putin and Donald Trump can, as you put it, "legitimate." What is the probability of such friendship and how is it dangerous?
Trump was formed in the conditions of a legal democratic state, and Putin was formed in the context of a gangster, criminal state
I can assume that they can come to some temporary tactical agreements, harmful to Ukraine, for example ... Maybe even to some section of the spheres of influence. Something similar is in the logic of Trump, because he is not an idealist, but a pure pragmatist, a seasoned businessman. But with all his negative qualities, Trump was nevertheless formed in the conditions of a legal democratic state, and Putin was formed in the context of a gangster, criminal state. Trump will expect from Putin that he will comply with the agreement, and Putin never followed the agreement and will not comply with them. He complies with the agreement, only so far he believes that they are beneficial to him. And when Trump understands that he is “thrown”, then their honeymoon will end. The separation of powers in the United States will not allow Trump to perform actions that contradict the interests of democracy, peace and common sense, including actions related to the Union with Putin. But purely theoretically, Putin hopes for something like this, ”said Russian sociologist Igor Aidman , author of the book“ Putin’s system. Where does the new “Russian world” have been in Germany? ”
