
The musicians DDK Trio - Jacques Demirr, Axel Droner, Jonas Kocer - will perform in Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Yaroslavl, St. Petersburg and Moscow. Concerts will take place from November 23 to December 1.
DDK Trio are stars of European improvisational music. These are the Swiss - the pianist Jacques Demirr and the accordionist Jonas Kocher - as well as the German trumpeter Axel Trinner . Since 2014, they have been playing together, and this year they released the debut album “Floating Piece of Space” .
Jacques Demirr is known as a pianist, composer and improviser. The author of more than a hundred works - for piano, for flute and clarinet, for violin and guitars, for the ensemble of acoustic instruments and electronics. Demirr also appears with the reading of sound poetry, writes music for avant -garde productions (for example, percussion - “table for three” ), improvises with the sound of piano strings and recitation .
Berlin trumpeter Axel Dronner is engaged in free improvisation , he plays Globe Unity Orchestra and The London Jazz Composers Orchestra , quartet Die Enttäuschung , the project of Alexander von Shlippenbach Monk's casino dedicated to the inheritance Telonius Monk.
On solo performances of the accordionist Jonas Cochera, the music is part of the performance or art installation. This "New Musical Theater" becomes the idea of the Bruit association (from the French “noise, sound, rumor”), which was organized by a stranger. The DDK Trio concert is one of these theatrical performances.
