The Ministry of Internal Affairs intends to ensure that since the beginning of the next year all the foreigners entering Russia are mandatory to pass dactyloscopy. According to Interfax, the first deputy head of the department, Alexander Gorova, stated this.
This issue was added by the security forces, officials of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Foreign Ministry will be discussed with foreign colleagues, including from the CIS states.
Meanwhile, TASS reports that, according to Gorovoy, foreign law enforcement officers reacted to the plans of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with an understanding for which the police department is grateful to them.
Now dactyloscopy is required only for migrants who seek a patent or work permit.
At the beginning of 2014, with the initiative of the dactyloscopy of all foreigners and stateless persons, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acted in Russian visas.
In April of this year, a member of the Public Chamber, Elena Sutormina, suggested that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev introduce mandatory dactyloscoping of EU and the USA . She explained that this would be a reasonable answer to the United States and EU countries that have already introduced such a procedure for Russians, and would also help in the fight against terrorism.
