Turchynov: Ukraine does not plan to shoot over the Russian Federation, Moscow is hysterical
The Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosaviatsia) announced that Ukraine is going to conduct rocket firing on December 1-2 “with entry into the airspace over the territorial waters of the Russian Federation with a maximum depth of 12 kilometers.” Shooting is planned to be arranged over the Black Sea.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, Ukraine did not coordinate its plans with the Russian side. The air transport agency notes that civilian aircraft routes pass through the areas where the shootings are planned.
Sergei Izvolsky, an adviser to the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency , told the Rossiya 24 TV channel that flights in the Crimean region could be banned in connection with Ukraine's plans.
The representative of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vladislav Seleznev , told RIA Novosti that the agency would not comment on the message of the Federal Air Transport Agency. “Everything related to the temporarily occupied territories is under the jurisdiction of either the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry for Uncontrolled Territories of Donbass,” Seleznev said.
Rosaviatsia requires the Ukrainian side to immediately cancel the issued notifications, considers attempts to establish restricted zones in the sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation unacceptable and insists on the unconditional need for prior coordination with the competent Russian authorities.
