Adviser to the head of the DPR Zakhar Prilepin: Dozhd journalists will be released simply and without warning

Writer Zakhar Prilepin, who is an adviser to the head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, assured that the journalists of the Dozhd TV channel detained in Donetsk would soon be released.

“There is only one information: everything will be fine. There are no particular problems. Now they will figure it out, and tomorrow morning everything will be fine. They'll just let you out in the morning or half an hour later. They will release simply and dosvidos. Everything will be fine. I called, they told me that everything is fine, everything is without problems. Everything is fine,” Prilepin told Ekho Moskvy radio station.

The fact that everything is in order with journalists was also stated by an unnamed source of the Interfax agency . “I guarantee that they are all right, they were detained on suspicion of violating the DPR legislation, the situation should be resolved in the next few hours,” the source said. He suggested that the journalists would be sent to Russia.

A RIA Novosti source in the so-called government of the DPR said , speaking of Dozhd journalists: "Everything is fine with them."

• The Dozhd TV channel previously reported that journalists Sergei Yerzhenkov and Vasily Polonsky, who are in Donetsk, stopped communicating. Polonsky told the editors that they were detained by employees of the so-called Ministry of State Security of the DPR.
• Dozhd claims that the journalists had accreditations from both representatives of the DPR and the Security Service of Ukraine.
