The general director of Russian Post was illegally paid 95 million rubles

The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia established the fact of illegal payment of wages in the amount of more than 95 million rubles to the General Director of Russian Post Dmitry Strashnov. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office Alexander Kurennoy.

The Prosecutor General's Office sent materials to the Investigative Committee to initiate a criminal case against Strashnov and two heads of departments of the Ministry of Communications. The Prosecutor General's Office proposes to bring Strashnov to justice under the article on abuse of power, and the officials of the ministry, whose names are not named, under the article on negligence.

Earlier, Russian Post stated that Strashnov received 95 million rubles as a bonus for 2014. His salary at the same time was 307 thousand rubles a month.

As the prosecutors established, in June 2015, according to the results of the financial and economic activities of the Russian Post in 2014, “the head was agreed to a remuneration in the amount of 95.4 million rubles.” “The calculation of remuneration was carried out on the basis of documents submitted by the enterprise, including the amount of net profit received in the reporting period in the amount of 1.2 billion rubles,” said a representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
