Pickets against forest destruction

On November 25, in St. Petersburg, activists held single pickets near the building of the North-West Territorial Directorate of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense. This is part of the campaign against the "saw" of the Rzhevsky landfill - a valuable forest on the shore of Lake Ladoga, which is under the leadership of the military. A road network has already been built on the territory of the strategic facility, and dozens of forest hectares are allocated for garden plots. Activists achieve the transfer of the Rzhevsky training ground to the forest fund to give it the status of a regional reserve.
