
Correspondents of the Rain television channel, which were expelled from the territory of the self -proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, were delivered to Russia. This was announced by the channel on his website .
"The special services of the self -proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic released the rain correspondents Sergei Yerzhenkov and Vasily Polonsky. They were delivered to the territory of Russia, they have a connection with the editorial office of the channel. Earlier, the journalists were detained by the Ministry of State Security of the DPR," the television channel said.
On Saturday morning, journalists were in Rostov-on-Don.
Journalists worked on the territory of the DPR on Thursday. On Friday evening, they stopped in touch. Polonsky managed to inform the editorial office that they were detained by people who called themselves employees of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR.
The department after that stated that the journalists provided obviously false personal data in order to obtain accreditation. In this regard, they were required to testify on the fact of illegal journalistic activities, as well as demonstrate the captured materials.
When viewing video recordings, representatives of the DPR found that they "are biased and provocative in nature" and "in false light reflect the socio-economic and political situation in the republic."
