In the Murmansk region, Konstantin Khryukin, the general director of the Zvezdochka Special Production and Technical Base, was arrested in the case of embezzlement on an especially large scale. This is reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
According to investigators, in 2016 Khryukin embezzled more than 60 million rubles. Details of the case were not disclosed in the press release of the UK.
The case was initiated "based on the materials of the FSB and the United Shipbuilding Corporation."
Currently, Khryukin has been charged and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
