State Duma deputy from United Russia, co-owner of Sheremetyevo Airport Alexander Skorobogatko decided to resign his mandate ahead of schedule. It is reported by Interfax.
There is no information about the reasons for this decision.
The draft resolution on the deprivation of Skorobogatko's mandate on November 28 was supported by the committee on regulations.
- Alexander Skorobogatko is a business partner of Arkady Rotenberg. Together with Alexander Ponomarenko, they own Sheremetyevo Holding, which controls Sheremetyevo Airport. Together with Igor Rotenberg, Skorobogatko and Ponomarenko own TPS Real Estate, which owns shopping and entertainment centers in Russia and Ukraine.
- According to declarations filed during the election campaign, Skorobogatko ranks fourth among all deputies in terms of income. His declared income is 745.2 million rubles.
- Alexander Skorobogatko became a member of the State Duma for the fourth time in 2016. In 2003, he was elected to parliament from the Liberal Democratic Party, in 2007 and 2011 - from United Russia.
