The election headquarters of Hillary Clinton, a candidate of the US Democratic Party in the 2016 presidential election, said last weekend that he would take part in the recount of Visconsin's ballots, initiated by the Presidential Candidate from the President of the Green Jill Stein.

According to Clinton representatives, hundreds of her supporters are concerned that foreign hackers, including, possibly, from Russia, could hack electoral databases and change the results of the voting to the Democrats candidate. This mainly applies to the key states - Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, where the total advantage of Donald Trump over Clinton was only 107 thousand votes.

Clinton’s proxies did not find any specific signs of hacker intervention, but due to the minimum advantage of Trump in the mentioned three states, as well as endless messages about cyber attacks that accompanied the last presidential campaign, Clinton's headquarters decided to support the Styne initiative.

“Our debt to 64 million Americans who voted for Hillary Clinton, to make sure that the announced voting results are true,” said the headquarters of the candidate of the Democratic Party.

The elected President Trump wrote on his Twitter that "the recalculation requirement is the only way for Gil Stein, who gained less than one percent of the vote and was not even listed in electoral ballots in a number of states, to replenish the treasury of his party." Hillary Clinton and her party were desperately ashamed of Trump for undermining the political principles of America after he refused to unequivocally confirm that he would not dispute the voting results in the second round. “And now, look, democrats refuse to recognize the legality of the results,” Trump and his people say. After all, it is one thing to help green in financing measures to recount the ballots, and quite another - to finance such events themselves. And to join the demand of the green for recounting is not the same as going to public with him. The democrats abstained from the latest options. Today, they intend to limit themselves to sending their observers to the Visconsin election commission, where a recalculation will be carried out, and the legal support of the Green Party, if it comes to court. The White House, meanwhile, expresses full confidence in the officially published election results.

The meetings at which the electors will announce the final results of the presidential race will take place on December 19, so the green had to be in a hurry with their petitions. November 28 - the deadline for filing a petition in Pennsylvania, on November 30 - the deadline for feeding in Michigan.

The request for the recounting with which Stein made has its own oddities, experts say. Firstly, several weeks have passed since the vote, usually protests are announced immediately upon announcing the results and before one of the parties officially capitulated. Secondly, the initiator of the protest was the third party, which had no, even theoretical chances to win after the recount, no matter what he revealed. Thirdly, and Clinton herself has the prospects for taking away the presidency from Trump, ghostly, for this should be recognized as victory not only in Wisconsin, as well as in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

The history of America knows cases when the winner changed according to the results of the recount of ballots. All in memory, for example, has a story that occurred in the Senator elections from Minnesota in 2008. Having picked up this information, the New York magazine wrote that a number of leading experts in computing equipment and electoral law are asking Clinton to recalculate the ballots in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania due to the alarming anomalies in voting, which further spurred interest in the audit. Among these "abnormalities": Clinton scored 7 percent fewer votes in those districts in Wisconsin, where electronic urns were installed in polling stations compared to districts that used optical scanners and paper ballots. And where the electronics is, there, they say, and the increased danger of hacking. According to some calculations, Clinton thus could lose up to 30 thousand votes, and she lost to Wisconsin with a gap of only 27 thousand.

Trump in the election scored fewer votes than Hillary Clinton, but in the American electoral system this is not of fundamental importance, only symbolic.
