Former prisoners talked about torture in the colony where Ildar Dadin is sitting
Valery Maksimenko, Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary of Russia (FSIN), called Ildar Dadin on Monday morning, who reported torture in the Karelian IK-7, "a very talented imitator" and added that the internal check did not find evidence of what Dadina was tortured. Already a few hours later, relatives of prisoners gathered in Moscow, who confirmed - all that Ildar Dadin wrote about is true.
Zambek was delivered to the Segezh colony No. 7 in April 2014. According to him, he was sent to the insulator as soon as he arrived. “Two checks are passing on the day. And each check is removed on the camera. You read your report, and then all-they turn off the camera, display and begin to beat and stretch (meaning the type of torture, in which the prisoner is pulled by the legs in different directions). The persons are beaten for seven to ten. The nurse is with their backs. They have a special corridor, then you have no video camera. You can’t, and they throw you back.

Now Zambek is already at large and communicates with human rights activists in the video. According to the wife of Ildar Dadin Anastasia Zotova, such as Zambek, in IK-7 dozens. Only one press conference in the Sakharov Center about torture and bullying in the Karelian colony was told by five former prisoners and relatives of those who are now in IK-7.
"Many former prisoners are now in Petrozavodsk, but they are afraid to say, they are afraid that they will come to them later," says Zotova.
The wife of Anzor Mamaev, one of those who remained in IK-7, says that she could see her wife in September. "He was beaten very terribly-for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Due to what happened, there is a lot of attention to this colony now. My husband Moskalkova (the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova.-RS) visited, but she only left, as he was terribly beaten by terribly."
Another former prisoner - Timur recalls: "The torture began immediately. You are immediately placed in the penalty area and all the employees ... Torture mainly occur in the penalty area. They beat absolutely everything and beat systematically."
The most fully torture was described by another former prisoner - Beck (the name was changed at his request) - on the eve of the press conference, human rights activist Lev Ponomarev interviewed him.
"They take it to a short corridor where there are no cameras, personal DVRs turn off. Two inspectors take you by the legs, raise you in different directions ... When the pain becomes unbearable, you are thrown to the floor and begin to be beaten with their feet, literally trampled on the floor."
In the leadership of the FSIN, they insist that the prison system is absolutely transparent, and "unacceptable methods of influence" were not applied to Dadin.
“I really want to pay attention to the fact that the Federal Penitentiary Service has never been so open to all human rights defenders, and just for society, and it’s not going to conceal and hide anything, it seeks to become absolutely transparent. We have offered earlier and now we offer facts of violations and abuses, then let's open and correct them together, and the perpetrators,” RIA Novosti told the RIA Novosti agencies. deputy head of the FSIN Valery Maksimenko.
It was foolish to expect from the Gestapo so that they would find some violations in the concentration camp
“It was foolish to expect from the Gestapo so that they would find some violations in the concentration camp,” says Zotova. - There is actually a concentration camp. There, brutally torture and torment people. And these people are watered with urine, and their heads are tilted over the toilet, and they urinate on them. And the extension on the twine is made so that all muscles and tendons are torn, and bare in the frost, they are watered and watered in cold water, and people are kept in an unheated chamber, where the temperature is –15, the same as on the street. They beat on the head, in the legs with a club, and they beat the male genital organs. Just the whole spectrum of everything that can be imagined. And it is clear that the leadership of the FSIN cannot admit - yes, guys, we have a concentration camp in Karelia! Of course, they will cover the whole thing to the last. In fact, hope is now in the Investigative Committee-firstly, and secondly-to journalists. It is clear that the FSIN will protect this Kossiev (chief IK-7.-RS) as long as it is beneficial for them. It will become unprofitable for them when Putin says: "You are crazy! What have you arranged?!" While Putin does not get them, they will not stop it. For 27 days I communicate with those people who were prisoners ... What you saw by Skype is far from all the people with whom I communicate. They tell me all this. I understand that this is impossible for a person to survive. The fact that they worry is superhuman torture. This must be stopped.

-Is there any "roadmap" for this?
- As such, there is no roadmap. At first, when Ildara was imprisoned, I was sure that Gudkov stood up, Reznik stood up, someone else stood up, and now Ildar would be released. In fact, we act on the legal side. A complaint about the article in the Constitutional Court is considered. There is a cassation in the Supreme Court. A complaint to the ECHR will be filed, the decision of the ECHR. Accordingly, we can’t do anything else. It seems to me to stand with the FSIN with a poster with a poster. They don't care about it. The first day, 100 people came out to the FSINA with a demand - to investigate, the FSIN on these 100 people simply spit. That's all. How to stop torture? Also from a legal point of view. We will write statements to the Investigative Committee. We will try to disseminate the information as wide as possible about what is happening there.
They are real fascists
I want to publish the names of those people who arrange torture there, so that at least some human court, the censure of them overtakes, because they are real fascists. They are the evil with whom our great-grandfathers fought in 1941-1945. They are an evil hopeless, sadists and fascists.
“Are you not going to come to Ildar again?”
-I was there on the 9th. Most likely, they will not let me go to the next six months. We have allowed one short -term date every six months and one long date once every six months. To get a long date, Ildar must write paper, and the head of the colony must put a visa on it. And this is the worst of all. Because Kossiev will not put a visa to let me into the colony, so that I sit with Ildar for three days, so that I would record more in more and, when I go out, I released it all! I hope that Ildar will be transferred to another colony that I can go on a long date already there.
