Musician Didier Marouani and lawyer Trunov were detained for “extorting money” from Philip Kirkorov

The arrest was carried out by the police in the center of Moscow, on Pokrovka Street.

Kirkorov's lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky confirmed to reporters that the lawyer had been detained. According to him, we are talking about one million euros.

According to TASS, earlier Philip Kirkorov wrote a statement about the extortion of Didier Marouani and lawyer Igor Trunov.

Earlier, Marouani accused Kirkorov of plagiarism, and on November 28, Trunov's lawyer said that the parties would sign a settlement agreement. He noted that Kirkorov admitted the fact of plagiarism and agreed to pay compensation. Later, Kirkorov's lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky stated that there were no agreements.
