It was claimed that the FSB listened to the official of the official from the summer. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that from the very beginning of the operational development of Ulyukaev, Putin received all the information about the events, but did not dismiss the minister, because “sufficient reasons are necessary for dismissal,” rather than “primary information”.
On November 21, Putin said that the case against Ulyukaev would only strengthen the business climate in Russia . We all must understand and know that, regardless of the official position of anyone, the law will apply equally to everyone. ”
At the same time, the president emphasized that he has no complaints about the government as a whole. “The government works professionally, despite all the criticism that is natural,” Putin said. “We all work not without errors, and, probably, it would be possible to make something quickly to the government. But in general, I repeat again, I believe that the government works effectively and quite effective in the difficult conditions in which we have to function.”
In addition, Putin again assured that the case of Ulyukaev would not affect the transaction on the purchase of Rosneft Bashneft.
