
Today, December 1, the Russian premiere of the film Irene Langeman (Germany) “Pavlensky: Man and Power” in Moscow opens the X International Documentary Film Festival “Artdoxfest”. Films of the competitive program of the festival will be simultaneously shown in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
In the competitive program "Artdokfest" this year 22 paintings created by filmmakers from films from Lithuania, Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Israel, France and Bosnia. All films will be presented by directors and members of the film crew.
Films from the main competition will be awarded three prizes - the Grand Prix, the prize to the best full -length documentary and a special jury prize.
The awarding of the laureates who will be chosen by the jury of the festival - playwright and screenwriter Alexander Gelman (chairman), writer Arina Kholina and director Mikhail Aldashin, will be held on December 9 at the Moscow Karo 11 Cinema October.
The venues of Artdokfest will also become the Czech Cultural Center of the Czech Republic in Moscow, the Angletter and Rodina cinema (Petersburg) and Yeltsin Center (Yekaterinburg).
In all programs of the festival, 154 films from 19 countries will be presented, in 8 days more than 180 sessions will be held an average of 100 minutes each. As the organizers suggest , the festival will visit more than 20 thousand spectators.
