There was a detention at the Boris Nemtsov memorial

In Moscow, on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge near the Boris Nemtsov People's Memorial, at about 04:30 in the morning, one of the activists on duty there, Alexander Kazakov, was detained. The second duty officer, Ilya Povyshev, as Sergey Kireev writes on Facebook, at that time went to warm himself in the car. When he returned, he was able to collect some of the things left at the memorial and take them to his car.

After that, according to Povyshev, the police “persistently suggested” that he “leave the cleanup site along with the car.” He removed the car and went to the Kitai-Gorod police department, where Kazakov was at that moment, and wrote a statement "regarding a banal robbery, in front of them." From Kazakov, according to Povyshev, they demanded to write an explanation "about something that did not exist." Kazakov, in turn, demanded that the police explain the reason for the detention. More than two hours after his arrest, he left the police department.

The recent practice is that police officers come to the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge and inform the activists on duty there at the memorial that a call has been received about "illegal actions." Activists are forced to go to the Kitai-Gorod police department to write explanations, while employees of the Gormost institution remove flowers, photographs and other things from the bridge.
