
The Moscow Exchange registered the Rosneft ten -year -old bonds for more than trillion rubles. This was reported in the press release of the stock site on December 2.
Securities of the oil state-owned company assigned the number 4–00122-A-001P-02E. The validity of the Rosneft bond program is unlimited.
Rosneft spokesman Mikhail Leontyev refused to name RBC the deadlines for placing bonds, indicating only that the program is long-term and phased in nature. The agency indicates that after registration on the paper exchange can be placed at any time.
The Board of Directors Rosneft approved the bond program on November 20. The company indicated that the funds raised will be aimed at foreign projects and extracting assets, as well as debt refinancing.
On November 24, Leontyev emphasized that the total amount for which bonds will be placed will not necessarily be limit (up to 1.07 trillion rubles). In addition, the “daughter” of Rosneft itself received the right to ransom papers within the program.
In December 2015, Rosneft placed bonds for a record 635 billion rubles, which Kommersant called the largest in the history of Russia and the most mysterious , as it took place in the situation of strict secrecy. The Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina later stated that the sale of Rosneft bonds had an impact on the ruble exchange rate, which a week after the transaction was weakened to historical minimums for the dollar and the euro.
