A second suspect in an attack on an employee of the republican department of the Federal Penitentiary Service was detained in Dagestan

The police detained another suspect in the murder of an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Republic of Dagestan, RIA Novosti reports citing the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.

Volk noted that other participants in the attack are currently being identified. The first suspect was detained the day before .

On the evening of December 2, near a house in the Zagorodny village of Makhachkala, an unknown person shot at a FSIN employee and fled in a car. The man died on the spot from gunshot wounds.

The Investigative Committee in the republic opened a criminal case of murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) and illegal trafficking in weapons (Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code).
