Aslan Bzhaniya, co-chairman of the Bloc of Opposition Forces of Abkhazia, managed to cross the Abkhaz-Russian border and is currently on his way to Sukhum. It is reported by TASS with reference to the politician himself.

“I crossed the border calmly, like all other citizens. Now I’ll get to Sukhum, and from there I’ll go to the village of Tamysh, where they are waiting for me, ”Bzhaniya told the publication.

Earlier it became known that the leader of the Abkhazian opposition in Sochi over the past two days was detained several times by the police and taken to the local police department. On December 4, when Bzhaniya was about to leave for Abkhazia, he was taken to a separate room during passport control, after which he was again taken to the police, he was soon released .
