In India, a frigate capsized while leaving the dock, two sailors were killed

In Mumbai, the missile-carrying frigate Betwa capsized while leaving the dock. As a result, two sailors were killed, 14 people were injured.

According to the NDTV channel, one of the dead sailors was on the deck of the ship at the time of the incident, the other was inside.

The alleged cause of the incident is a malfunction in the operation of the dock blocks, said the official representative of the Indian Navy.

As a result of the fall, the Betva's mast broke, NDTV reports. When the ship can be commissioned again is unknown.
