According to journalists, the fire occurred in the kitchen of the first floor, after which the fire spread to other rooms. The hotel visitors who were in the western had many opportunities to leave the building, because of which some began to jump out of the windows and make ropes from the sheets.

Three firefighting, who arrived at the scene, managed to localize the fire only three hours after the start of extinguishing. Rescue operation in Regent Plaza is still not completed, it is possible that people can still stay in the hotel. At the moment, the causes of the fire are not reported.

According to the head of the rescue service of Semina Jamali, at least 70 people turned to the medical help with bone fractures for medical help with bone fractures and poisoning. At the same time, there are three foreigners among the victims, their citizenship is not specified.
