The problem of the energy deficit of Mongolia can be solved by gas and growth of supplies from Russia, said the head of Buryatia, Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn, about the construction of hydroelectric power plants on Selenga, threatening Baikal.

Nagovitsyn gave an interview to public television of Russia. He touched on the topic of the interaction of the republic with neighboring Mongolia. Excerpts from the conversation were published by his press service.
