
Multimedia Art Museum Moscow (MAMM) resumes a series of concerts of modern academic music “Mammusic Contemporary”. On December 21, the first Russian concert of the Dutch Minimalist Daove Eissengi will be held at the museum.
In the museum’s lobby, where the exhibition of Alexander Rodchenko is now taking place, the Moscow ensemble of modern music will perform a program from the best chamber works of the composer, compiled by him specifically for a Russian tour - in addition to Moscow, he will visit Nizhny Novgorod, where the concert will take place on December 22.
Dauva Eissenga received world recognition after a joint project with the English writer David Mitchell, the author of the novels “Cloud Atlas” and “Dream Number 9”. The result of their cooperation was the musical embodiment of the novel “Cloud Atlas”.
The four works of Eissengi entered the largest twenty -volume retrospective by the minimalist of Minimal Piano Collection , formed by Pianist Yerun Van Venom.
The composer worked on the program, which will be presented in MAMM, the composer worked in cooperation with the Dutch video artist Gayce Hak, whose work will be accompanied by music.
Before the concert, Dauva Eisenga will give a lecture on minimalism in modern European music and tells about his work.
