"Garage" will show the program of American cinema

On December 17, in the lecture of the Museum of Contemporary Art “Garage” in Moscow, the film program “Dare Greatly” begins, dedicated to the most significant people, events and phenomena of American culture.

The Dare Greatly project is part of the Garage Screen - the program of the Garage Museum, familiarizing the audience with outstanding examples of Russian and foreign art, documentary and experimental cinema.

The film program "Dare Greatly" is divided into four thematic blocks:

The New York art scene block (December 17–18) includes films about Jackson Pollock and Jean-Michel Baskia , the films “Fear and Hatred in Las Vegas” and “Muttle Dogs” , in the Musical Films block (January 28–29), “ In Jazz, only Girls”-“Only Girls”. And "New York, New York."

The final block “New Hollywood” (February 4–5) will present films of the period of the mid-1960s and the late 1980s, when the interest of large film studios in the author’s cinema- “Annie Hall” and “American Graffiti” is traced.

The entrance to all shows is free, according to preliminary registration.
