Kirill Shulik: "Conclusions from the McLaren report"

The politician analyzes the second part of the Richard McLaren report on the large -scale use of doping by Russian athletes, noting that the document contains less political background, and the greatest problems, apparently, expect domestic Bobsley.

"1. In the second part of the report, there are fewer a political background than it was in the first. It is not for nothing that you are told that the situation in the world is changing. McLaren did not even run into Mutko because there is no evidence. There is evidence about his former Zama of the High School, but he was already out of the civil service. Rodchenkov successfully did this without the FSB, but instead of the prison he went to increase, exactly because he was able to replace the samples.

2. History with a massive substitution of samples with the sanction of the state began in London in 2012. As in the case of the guilt of the Nagoric, Russia recognizes this, albeit indirectly. There are no tantrums on the doping of the London Olympiad already for doping, and these decisions are trying to quietly hush up, as well as by Beijing, however, at that time, if McLaren believes, there were no programs. 3. McLaren has become less bloodthirsty and no longer says that Russia must be driven everywhere. On the contrary, he notes that we started the fight against doping. I will repeat that even if there was a state program for doping, there would be nothing if the Russad and its laboratory were non -state. And so they obeyed the Ministry of Sports and such a purely bureaucratic solution broke a lot in our sports.

Indirectly we can conclude that Russia will leave two gold in Bobsleu because of Zubkov and governors who performed in deuces and fours. It is interesting that there are no complaints on biathlon and skis, despite Rodchenkov’s accusations against the skier of Zhevkov and Skeletonist Tretyakov, and the skis and biathlon are the most doping -intensive sports. I can’t say by skiing, and in the biathlon a sharp decrease in the results to Sochi even during the time of the German coach of the Pichler and the leadership of the federation of Mikhail Prokhorov, smart people explained by the fight against doping.

5. There is no threat to the football world championship, football in the report is somehow not allocated separately.
