The Investigative Committee began an investigation due to exercises involving “martyrs” at a college in the Leningrad region

The Investigative Committee began checking because of information about anti-terrorist exercises in one of the Tikhvin colleges, which frightened students. This was reported on the website of the Office of the UK in the Leningrad region.

“During the inspection, all the circumstances of the incident will be studied, those present at the lesson, as well as the persons who organized these exercises, will be interviewed,” the ministry’s press service said.

The reason for the check was the photos of the exercises published on social networks. The photographs show students sitting in the assembly hall, people in masks and with weapons, as well as a woman in a black hoodie with a covered face, hung with dummies of explosives.

Witnesses of the event claim that neither the students nor the teachers knew that what was happening was a teaching, and some of them went into hysterics out of fear.
