
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved the draft international agreement on the participation of the Belarusian special forces in counter -terrorism operations in Russia. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the decree of the Belarusian leader.
The same agreement is allowed to attract Russian special forces in operations in Belarus.
The text of the international agreement itself does not apply.
The Commissioner for negotiations with Russia was appointed by the KGB of Belarus. If necessary, he is allowed to introduce changes and additions to the agreement that are not a fundamental nature.
At the end of August 2015, it became known that paratroopers from Russia, Belarus and Serbia will work out their actions in a situation resembling Ukrainian Euromaidan during joint exercises. As reported, the Russian reinforced battalion, a Serbian separate landing company and two companies of the Belarusian special forces will take part in the exercises at the training ground at the 7th Guards Airborne Forces Division.
