Today, the Moscow Arbitration Court granted the petition of the European University “On the adoption of a security measure in the form of suspension of the order of the Rosobrnadzor order to suspend the EUSPB license for educational activities” - this message appeared tonight on the official website of the university. This means that the university is open again, but for a long time - no one knows.
On Friday, December 9, in the register of licenses on the website of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor), a brief reference to the order dated 12/07/2016 No. 3205-07 on the suspension of the license of the European University has appeared. The reason for this decision was not indicated, the rumors around this topic were very different: from the assumptions that EU did not have a gym, to the punishment of a “noliberal seedling” for a certain “subversive activity”.
Hunting for EU has been going on for the past eight years almost without respite. This year alone, the university withstood a many -month battle after the state accreditation was withdrawn by the Rosobrnadzor by order of Rosobrnadzor. In the spring, the supervisory authority said that during an unscheduled audit, he discovered violations that allowed him to revoke accreditation for a month. In particular, for the fact that the conditions of the university did not spell out the conditions for the receipt of the inhabitants of Crimea (“Crimeans can come with Ukrainian education documents”). And for the fact that the programs of Roskomnadzor did not find the necessary information on the official website of the EU in a particular place. Already on May 5, the justice of the peace issued a decision to remove all the claims of Rosobrnadzor to the EUSPB and the termination of the case with the wording: “Behind the expiration of the statute of limitations”. The next day, May 6, the accreditation was restored, but not even three months passed, as on July 22, in the next order, Rosobrnadzor noted the lack of sports facilities at the university. And, in addition, he did not organize students' passage. A month later, EU sent a report on eliminating the shortcomings to Rosobrnadzor, but the overseering body decided that the university did not satisfy all claims, and gave the term until September 30. EU reported again, and on October 14, the Rosobrnadzor forbade accepting applicants - because the university, according to the overseers, did not fulfill all the requirements.
According to the rector of EU, Oleg Kharkhordin, it is possible that the university’s activities were suspended due to the fact that Alexei Kudrin is included in the trusteeship of the university. Perhaps there are other reasons that Rosobrnadzor is silent about, but which-as in the events of 2008, when firefighters made serious claims against EU, and it was impossible to correct the shortcomings due to the design features of the building, which is protected by the architectural monument. By the way, then there were rumors that the real reason for the university’s troubles was a program for preparing observers in the elections. Then, as a result of the long “Bodani”, which lasted almost two months, firefighters refused the struggle against the university, and the university opened.
According to EU employees, this time Mr. Milonov himself “ran into” with his beloved topic of non -traditional sexual relations. According to the NT correspondent, the chief Russian fighter for the sexual purity of the nation complained to lectures on Quir-theoria (the sociological theory of the nature of the Gender, which has become widespread at the end of the 20th century, its supporters believe that the gender and sexual orientation of the individual are not only determined by his biological sex, but the sociocultural environment and the conditions of personal education-the conditions of personal education- NT), read by Alexander Kondakov, associate professor of the European University. These lectures, apparently, called the deputy a storm of emotions that he poured out in a complaint to the General Prosecutor's Office.
The Moscow Arbitration Court granted the University’s petition, and from December 14, EU again continues the interrupted work.
