Ildar Dadin was transported through Vologda

Ildar Dadin, sentenced to imprisonment on charges of repeated violations at public events, was transported from a Karelian colony to pre-trial detention center No. 2 in Vologda. This is stated in his letter dated December 4, which was published by Dadin’s wife Anastasia Zotova on December 13.

In the letter, Dadin said that he was taken from Karelian IK-7 in Segezha, where he complained of torture , on the afternoon of Friday, December 2. On Sunday afternoon, December 4, he was brought to Vologda, and in the evening of the same day he was to be sent “further.” “There is indirect information that they are taking them to Kirov,” the letter says at the end.

The fact that Dadin was transferred from the Karelian colony became known only in December, when lawyer Nikolai Zboroshenko, representing Dadin’s interests in the ECHR, arrived there. Neither Dadin's defenders nor his relatives were warned about his transfer. The letter dated December 4 is the first message about the transfer route. Dadin's whereabouts are still unknown.
