The Russian division of Google published a small video called "Year in the search" on its YouTube channel, which contains the most popular search requests of Russian Google Russian users in the past year.

"In 2016, Russian users were interested in various topics in searching for Google: from elections and the Olympics to chess, rap battles and memes," the description of the video says.

Finally, the attention of users was attracted by the Pokemon Go mobile game, the work of the Leningrad group, various memes and the series "Game of Thrones".
