We are engaged in education, we accumulate intellectual capital, and this meets national interests. This is not questioned, whatever the point of view on current political issues. We are not engaged in a relevant policy here, thinking people come out of our university, who have different beliefs, not necessarily liberal, we have Marxists and people of conservative views among students, but they all know how to think.

By the way, these checks themselves are another reason to think about how they function. The inspectors came to us and said: “You understand, we cannot leave without finding anything, you yourself tell us that you are wrong.” They are people, we must understand them humanly, they are at work. These are by-products of the actions of a too overgrown punitive-control apparatus, which takes on more functions than it has to be. Why did the question arose about closing the university? We have a reaction in our country, but I would not want to engage in Kremlinology.

At first I came to the European University, for four years I was an administrator of international programs. I looked at the students of EUSPB and was terribly envious of them: it was clear that it was an amazing academic community and a real family. When I came to work in the EUSPB, I already had a higher education, I was a PR specialist. In his student years, she was engaged in PR of charitable organizations. And then I decided to return to this topic, but at a different level - I decided that it would be interesting to study the economy of charity, to explore the financial component of the work of charitable foundations. I had no questions where to go - of course, to the European University. I was not sure what I would do: at the Faculty of Economics, mathematics is very strong, and I am a humanist. I have been preparing for many months, I passed, and although now there are difficulties with mathematics, they are overcome. The main thing is that I study in European.

2008 - for the first time, the work of the European University was suspended at the request of the fire inspection.

On March 14-18, 2016 - the Rosobrnadzor was checking at the European University, according to its results, by April 1, the state accreditation of the EUSPB was “completely suspended”.

July 2016 is another check of Rosobrnadzor at the request of the deputy Vitaly Milonov. The audit found about 120 violations, a month was allocated for their elimination. The Rosobrnadzor did not accept the next report.
