Muslim Aliyev and Arsen Dzhepparov, two participants in the Yalta case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, were transferred on December 15 from a psychiatric hospital, where they were undergoing a compulsory psychiatric examination, back to a pre-trial detention center. It is reported by "Crimea. Realities".
Muslim Aliyev was transferred to a psychiatric hospital on November 17, Arsen Dzhepparov and another defendant, Refat Alimov, on November 24.
Another participant in this case, Emir-Usein Kuku, was also placed in a psychiatric hospital on December 8 for a forced examination.
On December 5 and 8, the Kiev District Court of Simferopol extended the detention of Muslim Aliyev, Arsen Dzhepparov, Emir-Usein Kuku and Refat Alimov for two months, until February 8.
On February 12, 2016, Russian security forces arrested four residents of Crimea, Muslim Aliyev, Arsen Dzhepparov, Enver Bekirov, and a member of the Human Rights Contact Group in Crimea, Emir-Usein Kuku, on charges of participating in the activities of the Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist organization.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation. Cases of terrorism have been opened in different regions of the country, while members of the cells of the organization are accused and sentenced to various terms in a strict regime colony only on the basis that they met in apartments, read religious literature and recruited new members.
