According to him, Kasyanov’s actions have long caused discontent among the Boris Nemtsov team. Prokhorov emphasized that the party’s leadership had a chance to “fix everything”, having done work on mistakes, in particular, to recognize a mistake with the nomination of the nationalist Vyacheslav Maltsev in the State Duma election. “But since the party leadership took the position that everything was done correctly, the situation could not be corrected in any way,” Prokhorov emphasized.

“Against the backdrop of talk about the consolidation of the democratic movement, Kasyanov could not achieve consolidation within his own party. It is better we will be engaged in a real political struggle than the struggle with Kasyanov,” Yashin said. According to him, now he intends to focus on working in the Jolidarity movement.

On the upcoming Parnas Congress on Saturday, several more people will announce their exit from the party, one of those who left it told the TV channel. At the same time, according to him, pressure on the part of the leadership is on the delegates of the congress. "The party members are not rich and not everyone has the opportunity to pay an arrival at the congress from the regions, and the passage to the delegates is paid very selectively," the source said. In his opinion, this may affect the vote on a number of questions.

In April, Yashin did not take part in the primaries of the Demoralization in connection with the unwillingness of Kasyanov to abandon the quoted first place in the list and move on to the primaries along with other functionaries. Last year, Yashin noted, the coalition really agreed to transfer Kasyanov first place in the list without participating in the primaries. “Such a compromise was in many ways forced: everyone understood that without this the creation of a united list on the basis of Parnassus would be impossible,” the functionary noted.

However, the fallacy of the decision made later became obvious, the deputy chairman of Parnas continued. "Supporters criticized us for a departure from democratic principles, and we gave the Kremlin the opportunity to focus the campaign to discredit on a policy that is guaranteed and without competition to lead the list," he explained.
