On Friday, the opposition blocked the work of the Sejm, refusing to participate in the meeting in protest against the restriction of the access of media representatives at the hearing. According to the new rules, from next year, only five Polish television companies will be able to record at the meeting. The introduction of these restrictions was explained by the fact that journalists distract deputies, asking "unnecessary questions."

Deputies of opposition parties considered innovations a restriction of freedom of speech. In protest, they stood for several hours at the stand of the Speaker of the Sejm, thus tearing the voting on the budget. After that, by decision of the deputies of the ruling party, the vote was transferred to another hall. The opposition found the results of the vote by illegitimate.

After that, thousands of residents of Warsaw entered the protest rally at the Sejm building. Protesters demanded that the head of the ruling party Yaroslav Kachinsky go to the audience. The police attempted to push the protesters from the Seima building. However, later, assessing their number, they abandoned this idea.

Already at night, the police, using force, pushed the protesters and helped Kacinsky get out of the building and get to the car. After that, the Kachinsky car left the square near the parliament building with other cars, one of which belongs to the prime minister of the country by Beata Shidlo. According to the deputy from the opposition party, Jerzy Meyshtovich, the police used tear gas when the protesters tried to stop the Kachinsky car.

On Saturday, protests continued . About two thousand people gathered near the presidential palace. They shouted the slogans "Freedom, equality, democracy." Some of the protesters held copies of the constitution. The demonstrators went march to the Seima building. There are a lot of police on the streets, but it does not interfere with demonstrators.

In October 2015, in the parliamentary elections, the Conservative Party "Law and Justice" won a convincing victory. For the first time in the history of post -communist Poland, she was able to form a government without joining the coalition.

The party founded its campaign on promises to increase social payments, counteract the introduction of the euro and prevent the influx of Muslim migrants on Polish territory. The party also always advocated the strengthening of NATO as a counterweight of threat from Russia.
