Vice-Governor of Primorye Sidorenko is placed under house arrest

In Vladivostok, the vice-governor of the Primorsky Territory Sergey Sidorenko was detained. According to TASS, a preventive measure has already been chosen against him - the Frunze District Court placed the official under house arrest for two months.

The administration of the Primorsky Territory has not yet been able to comment on the information received. "We do not comment on the situation. First, the investigating authorities should understand," the press service said.

The reason for the arrest of the official is not yet called. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the region reported that they did not initiate a criminal case against an official.

According to Primorye 24, Sidorenko could overtake the damage from the Lyonrok typhoon , and federal assistance in the amount of 40 million rubles to be sent to the company controlled by him. According to preliminary information, the official was the actual owner of a number of agro -industrial companies, whose leaders are his relatives and friends.

Typhoon "Lionok" fell on Primorye in late August. As a result, 170 settlements were flooded, about 550 kilometers of roads and 115 bridges were destroyed. The region’s emergency regimen was introduced in the region. The governor of the region Vladimir Miklushevsky appreciated the damage caused by the elements of more than 7 billion rubles.

Sidorenko oversees the administration of the Primorsky Territory issues of agriculture and fishing, veterinary medicine, the use of animal world objects, licensing and trade.
