In an eight -minute cartoon dedicated to Russian searches for freedom, the director found many gaps. For example, Alexander III was not mentioned there, without which, of course, nowhere. And the task of the museum, among other things, is to show - freedom was not an imported product in our country, which it has grown right here. Mikhalkov denied everything: it seems that you don’t need to think, you need to make a single -right version of the story and in no case in it doubt it. And even more so about any freedom, there can be no question at all - this is a value alien to us.

After returning from the failed box, Mikhalkov continued to wave his arms. His worst fears about the Yeltsin Center were confirmed, and now he intends to fight this universal evil-a memorial to search for freedom in Russia-even more active. So far, Mikhalkov does not have his own power structure, although all respected people have long acquired. Therefore, Nikita Sergeyevich will have to fight in the field of ideology. The director will teach us the correct history of our native country, for which, as already mentioned, he will erect his own historical center called “Citadel”. The project looks quite fantastic, in the spirit of the architectural fantasies of Manilov. If you believe the description of Mikhalkov, the “Citadel” will be a kind of high-tech-barack, who explains to ordinary people how grandfathers fought. But this is not the point-the “citadel center” still exists not even on paper, but simply in the individual head of our great contemporary.

According to the last films of Mikhalkov, it is already clear that the director could have done on the site of the Yeltsin Museum, if he was given him to turn around. As a historian Mikhalkov, he does not differ with high scrupulousness - because he is an artist, he sees that way. The brilliant historical canvas of the director, based on which he is going to build High Barak and which he himself tried to nominate at Oscars, failed at the box office. Moreover, the film "Burnt by the Sun-2: Citadel" caused in 2011 a deep bewilderment of the public and criticism. A strong scene of an attack on the citadel 15 thousand civilians with cuttings from shovels crashed into memory - in the view of Mikhalkov, Russian history looks that way. The Yeltsin Center, dedicated to the first leader of the new Russia, opened the second and third presidents of the country.
