The administration of the Kuibyshev district told the publication that the money for the bust was collected by communists and veterans, the budget did not finance the installation of the bust.

“In 1941, soldiers of the Red Army hid him during the retreat. Risking their lives, our soldiers, under the very noses of the Germans, lowered the sculpture of the leader into the well. This is the sixth monument to Joseph Stalin, erected in 2016. Earlier, the monuments appeared in the village of Kholmatka, Ostrovsky district, Pskov region, in the village of Mallakent, Kaitag district of Dagestan, in the village of Ozrek, Leskensky district, Kabardino-Balkaria.
