Wes Anderson takes a cartoon about dogs

American director UES Anderson announced that his next project will be an animated film called "Isle of Dogs).

According to BBC , a dog named Rex will be voiced by actor Edward Norton, who starred in Anderson's films “The Kingdom of the Complete Moon” ( Moonrise Kingdom , 2012) and “Grand Budapest Hotel” ( The Grand Budapest Hotel , 2014).

Also in the cartoon will sound the voices of Brian Krenston, Bill Murray, Yoko it, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Grevy Gerwig and Harvey Keitel.

In the video posted on YouTube , Anderson invites the audience to take part in the lottery, the winner of which will go to London, where the filming of the cartoon has already begun to voice one of the "dog" roles.

According to the information on the site Crowdrise.com , where the lottery is played out, the participants will need to "bark, howl and whine." All proceeds will be transferred to the Martin Scorsese Foundation, which is engaged in the restoration of old films.

Wes Anderson is not the first to turn to the animation - in 2009 his puppet cartoon “The Inactive Mr. Fox” ( Fantastic Mr. Fox ) was released, which was nominated for an Oscar in the category “Best Animated Film Film”.
