Vyacheslav Shalevich died

On December 21, in Moscow, at the age of 82, the theater and cinema actor Vyacheslav Shalevich died.

Vyacheslav Anatolyevich Shalevich was born in 1934 in Moscow, in 1958 he graduated from B.V. Schukina was admitted to the troupe of the Vakhtangov Theater, was busy in many performances, including “Idiot”, “Little Tragedies”, “Living Corpse”, “Irkutsk History”, “Seagull”, “Konarmiya”, “Man with a gun”, “Princess Turandot”, “Millionaire”, “Lubsy”, “Blind”.

In 1979 he graduated from the highest directorial courses at GITIS, from 1998 to 2011 he headed the Moscow Drama Theater named after Ruben Simonov, while playing roles at the Vakhtangov Theater. Among the directorial works of Shalevich “Thirteenth Chairman”, “Ali-Baba and Forty Robbers” and “Champagne spray”.

In 1958, he made his debut on the film screen, playing the role of Shvabrin in the “Captain's Daughter”. The actor’s filmography has more than 70 film and television films, including the “Barrier of the Unknown”, “Hockey players”, “Three Topols on Plyushchiya”, “Virinea”, “July Six”, “Red Square”, “City under the Linds”, “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, “Medicine Against fear”, “American grandfather”, “Master and Margarita”.

PS Farewell ceremony with Vyacheslav Shalevich will be held on December 23 at the Vakhtangov Theater, the actor will be buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery, Interfax reports.
