There is no information about the survivors of the Tu-154 crash in the Black Sea, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said at a meeting of the government commission.

“At the moment, there is no information about the survivors of this disaster,” quoted Interfax him as saying. Sokolov said that the search and rescue operation was organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Air Transport Agency and the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport.

The Minister also stated that the search operation in the area of ​​the Tu-154 crash would be coordinated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The timing of its implementation has not yet been determined.

Sokolov said that the Ministry of Defense is responsible for the removal of the bodies of those killed in the Tu-154 crash. Relatives of those who died in the Tu-154 plane crash should arrive in Moscow for identification.

“All the main events and organization of work with relatives, by decision of the government commission, will take place in Moscow, at the Ministry of Defense, where the bodies of the dead and fragments of their bodies will be delivered for identification,” he said.

The next meeting of the government commission on the plane crash is scheduled for 8 o'clock in the morning on Monday in the building of the Adler airport.

The Tu-154 aircraft of the Ministry of Defense crashed in the Black Sea on Sunday morning, December 25. The plane flew from Moscow to Sochi for refueling, and then went to Syria. Shortly after takeoff, he disappeared from the radar screens. As it turned out, he crashed into the sea near the coastline.
