The volume of insurance liability of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) to Tatfondbank depositors is estimated at 53.7 billion rubles, Interfax reports .

As of 12:00 Moscow time on December 27, 2016, about 18.8 billion rubles, or 35% of the DIA’s insurance liability, was paid to 43,800 bank depositors, the state corporation said in a statement . Payments began on December 26.

How exactly and by whom the funds will be distributed among the banks will be clear before the end of the year, the latter says.
