According to Novaya Gazeta, the reason for the resignation was the recent attack by supporters of the Islamic State terrorist organization on police officers in Grozny. One of the sources also told the publication about Alaudinov's "acute personal conflict" with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
