Lutheran pastor from Kaluga Dmitry Martyshenko reported that he was beaten.
Martyshenko is known as a video blogger and the author of appeals to President Vladimir Putin and the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov (his video “Kaluga entrepreneurs turned to Kadyrov” received about 100 thousand views), and on his blog he also criticizes the regional governor Anatoly Artamonov.
In 2014, he claimed to have become a suspect in criminal cases of libel and drug trafficking, the first of which was dropped in November.
“Martyshenko is not only a priest, but also a famous Kaluga video blogger and political activist. He headed Delovaya Rossiya in Kaluga and was a representative of Mikhail Kasyanov,” Novaya Gazeta wrote about him.
Judging by the photographs on Facebook, Martyshenko is not only a priest, but also a supporter of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
