As it turns out, in many cases this format is still more convenient than video - short, silent GIFs often contain an entire story that does not require much time to watch. One of the main sources for such stories is the /r/gifs section on Reddit. Meduza selected several dozen of the best GIFs of 2016 from there and compiled them into one video.
